A.C.E — Accelerated Christian Education

A.C.E — Accelerated Christian Education

At Chum International School, we are proud to offer a holistic education rooted in Christian values. Our primary curriculum is the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) program, which emphasizes individualized learning through PACEs (Packet of Accelerated Christian Education). This approach allows each student to progress at their own pace, ensuring that they grasp the subject material according to their unique learning abilities — with grades running from Pre-School through to Grade 12. Through the A.C.E. curriculum, students have the opportunity to excel academically while also nurturing their spiritual growth. We believe that this personalized approach fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation for learning, empowering students to reach their full potential. As an illustration of the flexibility of A.C.E., a student may be placed in the fifth grade by conventional standards but could be working on Level 4 math, Level 5 science, and Level 5 English within the A.C.E. framework — tailored instruction to meet each child's individual needs and abilities.

Replacing informal care with professional guidance, our trained educators blend play with purpose using interactive methods like Jolly Phonics to make reading, writing and reasoning an exciting adventure. We build a global foundation early, setting high international standards that ensure a seamless transition into future academic endeavours.

Leader in Me

Our 'Leader in Me' programme — built on Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People — empowers students to take ownership of their learning and develop personal responsibility, goal setting, teamwork and effective communication. Leadership at Chum goes beyond titles and positions; it's about embodying the servant-hearted leadership modelled by Jesus Christ.
